Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
This policy explains what data BhathaOne collects, why, who it is shared with and how long it is kept. It applies to the website (bhathaone.in) and the app.
1. What we collect
Kiln owners and staff: name, mobile number, role, the kiln's name, village, district, pincode and position on the map, subscription and payment records.
The kiln's books: the entries you record — work, stock, materials, challans, payments, advances, attendance, and the names and numbers of workers and parties that you enter yourself.
Voice: when you speak an entry, the recording, its transcript and the draft made from it.
Brick buyers: name (optional), mobile number, pincode, how many bricks of which class, and by when.
App and phone: a device token for push notifications, the app version, crash reports. On the website, the cookie needed to keep you logged in; we do not run advertising trackers.
2. Why
To run your account and send OTPs; to keep the kiln's books; to route an enquiry to nearby kilns; to show the rate board and the list of kilns; to record subscriptions and payments; to find and fix faults in the app; to keep records the law requires.
3. Who receives it
A kiln's books are visible only to that kiln's people, and only as far as the owner has allowed. Never to another kiln.
A buyer's enquiry goes to nearby listed kilns with the quantity, brick class, district and distance. The buyer's number is not shown to a kiln until it accepts the enquiry.
The services that run ours: SMS and WhatsApp senders (OTPs and notifications), a push-notification service, servers and storage, and a speech-to-text service for spoken entries. Each receives only what its job needs and may not use it for anything else.
When you ask for support, our team can view your kiln's books — not change them — and every such session is logged, time-limited, and shown to you as a banner in the app.
Data may be disclosed where the law or a court requires it, or to prevent fraud. We do not sell your data.
4. How long we keep it
Account details: while the account is open. The kiln's books: for as long as the kiln wants them and thereafter for the period the law requires, since they are financial records. Voice recordings: through the season and the settlement of its accounts. Enquiries: for a limited time after they close, and only a hash of the number to recognise a repeat buyer. OTPs: a few minutes.
5. Your rights
You can see your data, have mistakes corrected, and ask for your account to be closed. A kiln's books belong to the owner, so a request to delete them comes from the owner and applies after the legal retention period. A buyer can have their number removed from our list. Write to support@bhathaone.in; we answer within 30 days.
6. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections. Every change is logged — who, when and what. Every entry that touches money or stock is written in a single transaction so nothing is left half-done. No one can guarantee complete security on the internet; if there is a breach we will tell you.
7. Children
The service is not for anyone under 18.
8. Changes and contact
When this policy changes the date above changes, and we announce a significant change in the app or by SMS. Questions: support@bhathaone.in
